Hello, cher...let's dance.

About Ian

Performance...with teeth.

I’m Ian Callan Sterling, an actor drawn to roles that live in the cracks: the bruised, the conflicted, the quietly dangerous. My performances are rooted in truth, not gloss. I don’t do safe. I do real.

I didn’t come up through the usual paths. No connections. No polished showcases. What I had was a need, a need to say something honest through characters who don’t always get a voice. Every scar, every misstep, every part of my past feeds into the work. That’s what makes it authentic. That’s what makes it mine.

I've taken on roles in indie films, student thrillers, and background television. I've trained in the Meisner technique, monologue performance, and on-camera realism.

I’ve spent years forging a presence that doesn’t blink. One that holds tension, sits in silence, and dares you to look away.

I'm most at home in roles that ask something of me, the broken brother, the desperate survivor, the guy at the edge of the story who says the one thing no one else dares to. I bring stillness. I bring tension. I bring a kind of vulnerability that doesn’t ask for sympathy, just understanding.

I don’t perform to impress. I perform to connect. I want to make people feel something they didn’t expect, even if it’s uncomfortable. Especially if it’s uncomfortable.

Thanks for being here. Let’s make something that hits hard and stays honest.
